Custom Built Casings

When I originally started designing the rounds I started out with what all the reloaders were using for flares and marker rounds - film canisters!

The need for room for camera, transmitter, batteries, fail-safe, and arming switches showed that the film canister was inadequate.
The version 1 and version 2 prototypes used babby soda bottles.

The new version 3 prototypes are using custom built hulls for the camera. The hulls are made out of composite of metal mesh and fiberglass. The projectile is solid enough to survive the launch and safeguard the contents but is fragile enough that if fired at a person will likely disintegrate, and absorb much of the impact (we want to keep it nice and safe to it doesn't get classified as DD by BATFE,)
